If you're planning your wedding for 2026, you're probably already dreaming of the dress, the cake, the venue...But have you thought about your flowers?

Wedding flowers in 2026 are set to be bold, personal, and beautifully grown with meaning. As a flower farmer–florist here in Hampshire, I’m already seeing next year’s brides leaning into sustainable choices and seasonally inspired colour palettes — and I’m here for it.

In this post, I’m sharing the biggest 2026 wedding flower trends, plus how you can incorporate them your way — with flowers grown just for you.

Why 2026 Wedding Flower Trends are All About Seasonal, Intentional Flowers

There’s a big shift happening in wedding florals. More couples are choosing flowers that:

  • Reflect the season they’re marrying in

  • Align with their values (hello, eco-conscious choices!)

  • And feel truly one-of-a-kind

Gone are the days of one-size-fits-all imported bouquets. 2026 brides are saying yes to local, scented, story-driven flowers that feel personal and poetic.

Top Wedding Flower Trends for 2026

Here’s what’s trending — and how we can bring it to life in your wedding:

Bride and groom embrace by floral arrangements. White and peach flowers on vases and tables, candlelit setting, soft and elegant mood.

1. Sculptural, Statement Florals

Bouquets and arrangements are becoming art. Think flowing, asymmetric shapes, natural movement, and designs that feel wild but refined.✨ How I do it: We use the natural curves of snapdragons, cosmos, and sweetpeas to build elegant, sculptural bouquets — straight from the patch.

Five women in colorful dresses hold bouquets, standing in a garden. The bride in white is smiling, creating a joyful, vibrant scene.

2. Bold Colour Blocking

Expect bridesmaids in matching tones and bouquets in raspberry, peach, or plum — with unapologetic colour confidence.✨ Tip: We can grow flowers in your chosen palette and harvest them at peak perfection the day before.

3. Butter Yellow & Soft Cream Tones

2026 brides are loving warm, neutral palettes with a golden twist — think apricot, vanilla, and buttercream blooms.✨ Grown here: I’ve got creamy stocks, pale zinnias, and blush sweet peas planned just for these palettes.

A rustic bouquet with pink ribbon rests on a textured pink surface, featuring white, green, and dried flowers, exuding a natural, elegant charm.

4. Cottage-Garden Meets Luxury

It’s the grown-not-flown look — with softly gathered blooms, herbs like rosemary and mint, and natural movement.✨ Signature Fuchsia Blooms style: Everything I grow is seasonal, scent-rich, and designed to look like it came straight from the garden (because it did).

5. Sustainable, Grown-For-You Floristry

Brides are ditching single-use stems and imported plastic-wrapped bouquets. 2026 is all about choosing florists who grow their own or source locally.✨I grow your flowers myself — on my patch in Hampshire — and only take on a limited number of weddings per year so I can grow just for you. I only buy flowers in when It's out of season but will alwats have dried stems and foliage for cutting as well as lots of rasses and berries depending on the season,

What This Means for You

If you’re dreaming of wedding flowers that:

  • Smell like your nan’s garden

  • Reflect the colours of the season

  • Are grown with your day in mind...you’re in the right place.

✨ My Wedding Flower Booking Process

Here’s how it works:

There is nothing more special than the bridal bouquet, and it’s the centrepiece for all of our creations. We always start with the bouquet first, thinking about the look and feel of the day, the bridal dress and of course the bridesmaids dresses. From wild and free with whispy elements  to trailing stems or focal points. It’s important to establish this first and weave the same elements throughout all of the other florals for the day . I just love the green danging trails of the amaranthus in the bouquet below which can then also be incorporated into a moongate or floral chandalier, or maybe trailing up a staircase.

Seasonality plays a big part of what we do so we will always recommend flowers and foliage in season, and work in harmony rather than fight against it on a cold December morning.  Seasonal blooms always look best together, that’s how mother nature intended them to be. We use our flower field, my own garden at home and also other local British flower farmers for our blooms and other special elements. For us, using imported flowers is a last resort at the beginning of the season and tail end if there are not enough British Blooms available locally and over the winter months when there are no British flowers available. However we will still use our own British foliage and dried stems throughout the year.  Locally grown means no air miles, no pesticides and best of all a wonderful scent. The stems are gnarly and twisted and the blooms all shapes and sizes. This is what makes each and every one of our bouquets unique and special.

We select the very best blooms up to 3 days beforehand and condition them to their peak bloom. For an organic lush feel we select a variety of stems with different features. From the smallest delicate blooms to give an airy feel such as orlaya grandiflora, to heavily blousy ruffled flowers such as peonies or ranunculus. Teeming these with a few whispy stems of jasmine and some poppy seed heads help to create a natural  just picked from the garden look.

Bridal Bouquet Shapes

The shape and size of the bouquet is also very important. From a small posy of just a few stems right through to large and wild, with frothy grasses and eucalyptus billowing out. There are so many to chose from and its all very personal. Think about the shape of your dress, if you are petite or fuller figured and chose a size which will complement.

Heart shaped- This suits all brides and has a delicate heart shape

Heart shaped brides bouquet

Wild & Free flowing - These can be made as big or small as needed and look great when oversized with pampas or wild flowing greenery and stray filler stems

Waterfall cascade - My favourite right now. Trailing down elegantly or a more wild look. These bouquets use more stems so tend to be heavier than other bouquets.

Skinny waterfall - Much lighter than a waterfall boquet and more delicate

Hoop - the most cost effective and lightest, these can look stunning with just a few flowers to give shape and form without carrying a large heavy bouquet

Compact - a neat ball of flowers without to many stray stems

Posy - from just a few stems, these are much smaller than all of the other bouquets and can be used for flower girls, maids and throw bouquets

We also use a variety of herbs in our bouquets ..... our favourites are rosemary, mint and clary sage. They add depth to the floral notes which are so important in a bouquet and will remind you of your special day for years to come. For that hand picked wild look we use flowers, grasses and greenery in all stages of life - from buds to berries and seedheads, such as poppy, nigella and scabious.

Maids Bouquets

We generally cut our stems quite short so that the focal feature are the flowers not the long stems. This allows you to hold the bouquet close to the body in a very natural way. We finish our bouquets with ribbons, twine, string or anything else which complements your theme and deliver in water to ensure that your bouquet is as fresh as possible.

Bridal party Flowers

For a great look try coloured ribbons or a contrast to your dress for stand out appeal.

Bouquets should be kept in the water preferably in a cool room until you are ready to go. They should then be removed from the water and the ends dried with a towel to ensure you don’t get any water on the dresses.

It seems like forever that we have been able to properly get together and one thing I’ve really missed over lockdown are my workshops. In particular my flower crown ones……. I absolutely LOVE a flower crown and will use any excuse to wear one!

Everyone learns how to make a stunning crown which you can then whip together again at any time ….. festivals, garden parties, afternoon tea or the next big night out! And this fabulous workshop shows you how it’s all done. The best thing is that its suitable for all age groups so you can bring along your niece and your grandma too!!

With a gorgeous selection of fresh, dried and faux blooms I guide you step by step through the process with lots of hints and tips on how to use the ingredients, with wiring and taping where needed. A fabulously fun & creative session where everyone gets to take home a keepsake.

I come along to the venue of your choice and cover the south of England, from Souithampton upto Twickenham. ...... Fleet, Winchester, Basingstoke, Reading, Windsor, Guildford........

My last flower crown workshops:

Summer 2019

Such a gorgeous day with hens having a pub luch and champagne flowing. Inbetween games and quizzes we made the most delectable crowns from fresh flowers and greenery with ranunculus, anemones and roses.

Summer 2019

This party booked out a private house in Ascot for a whole weekend of activities and pampering with the hen and 13 guests. It was late summer so we had lots ond lots of gorgeous Dahlias to use, they were so scrummy and the hens luckliy were the more is more type !

Summer 2021

One of my favorite flower crown workshops as Becky was also one of my brides so it was great to meet here again before the day of the wedding and get to know her. At a private house near Guildford the hens chose a garden party theme with faux and dried flowers so that they could all wear the crowns on the day of the wedding which was a festival theme at Blacknest golf club. A gorgeous mix of pastel colours, bunnies tails, brizia and eucalyptus!!

Summer 2021

Such a gorgeous day at Wellingtons Country Park for this bride and her hens. We made the most gorgeous bright coloured flowers crowns with a selection of the weeks finest cornflowers, achillea, sweetpeas, poppies, scabious & Nigella.

Summer 2021

Another of my favourite crown wokshops at a provate house near Guildford. A hot summers day with a gorgeous garden set up for these beatiful florals - a mix of the weekends wedding flowers with bright cornflowers, cream roses, achillea, feverfew, phlox, nigella, & bunnies tails.
