Fuchsia Blooms Florist took root in 2017 and what began as a wish to spend more time with nature and be more creative organically transcended the boundaries of the back garden into a haven where art, emotion, and nature converged. I didn't just start a florist studio; I embarked on a journey to redefine the language of flowers.
In our studio, there's no traditional storefront. Instead, we operate by appointment, offering a more personalized and intimate experience for our clients. This intentional choice reflects our dedication to providing undivided attention to each client, ensuring that their floral vision is not only met but exceeded.

My passion for flowers extends beyond arranging them – I nurture them from seed to bloom. Embracing a small-scale flower farm and a garden sanctuary, we cultivate a diverse array of blooms in a sheltered climate, ensuring optimal conditions for both early and late-season crops. This dedication to growing our own flowers allows us to offer locally sourced blooms that are exceptionally fresh, preserving their natural scents without the ecological footprint of extensive air travel.
Our commitment to sustainability goes hand in hand with our love for wild and gathered ingredients. In our floral arrangements, you'll find the enchanting additions of herbs such as Rosemary, Lavender, Mint, and other specialty blooms which are not available through wholesale routes. We are on a continuous journey to redefine beauty, keeping seasonality, carbon footprint, and eco credentials at the forefront of everything we do. We take pride in offering an alternative to the conventional floral industry by prioritizing local sourcing and reducing flower miles.
Conscious of our environmental impact, we have made a commitment to design without the use of floral foam or single-use plastics. Instead, we embrace sustainable alternatives such as moss, chicken wire. This intentional choice reflects our dedication to minimizing waste and leaving a positive imprint on the planet.

Flowers from the farm
We are a member of the Flowers from the farm association, a UK-wide membership of nearly 1000 independent, artisan flower farmers and truly believe in British sustainable flowers for the future. If we don't have enough of our own blooms we first turn to our fellow flowers from the farm members to see what they have available before we consider ordering anything from far flung destinations.
